Head of

As the Head of Total Rewards, you will be pivotal in developing and executing our compensation and benefits strategy to drive the company's growth and success. You will lead a team of compensation and benefits experts and collaborate with senior leadership to create and oversee competitive total rewards programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

You will:

    Develop and implement a holistic total rewards strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values, ensuring it effectively supports our scale and growth ambitions.

    Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of competitive compensation programs, encompassing base pay, variable pay, equity incentives, and executive compensation.

    Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and additional perks, ensuring they effectively address the diverse needs of our workforce.

    Work closely with HR teams to adapt and expand total rewards programs as the company grows into new regions, ensuring alignment with local regulations and market practices.

    Leverage data analytics and benchmarking to make informed decisions regarding compensation and benefits, ensuring programs are regularly reviewed and adjusted to maintain competitiveness.

    Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations, while maintaining robust governance practices.

    Collaborate with recruitment teams to craft attractive compensation packages that draw top talent, and work with HR to develop effective retention strategies.

Ideally, you’d have:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP) preferred.

    Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with a proven track record of success in scaling organizations.

    Deep understanding of global compensation and benefits practices, regulations, and market trends.

    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data effectively to drive decision-making.

    Outstanding leadership and team management skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and employees.

Compensation packages at Refonte for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, based on work location and various factors such as job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Eligible Refonte employees also receive equity-based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can provide specific salary range details for your preferred location during the hiring process and confirm equity grant eligibility. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. Additionally, this role may qualify for further benefits such as a commuter stipend.
