IT Support Engineer

Refonte is expanding our IT team! We’re seeking someone enthusiastic about joining a fast-paced environment that encourages on-the-job learning. This role requires excellent people skills and a strong commitment to learning and execution. You should be adept at identifying patterns and prefer avoiding repetitive tasks. Your goal will be to enhance user satisfaction by developing simple, repeatable solutions for everyone.

You will:

    Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including leading new hire orientations, and provisioning and deprovisioning hardware, accounts, and access.

    Provide general IT support to all Refonte employees, including help desk/service desk assistance and troubleshooting.

    Maintain and provide technical support for all office technology, including printers, Zoom Rooms, room schedulers, and more.

    Oversee IT asset management, ensuring accurate and actionable records are maintained for all required equipment.

    Promote best practices established by IT and escalate inquiries as needed to the IT Systems and Infrastructure team.

    Track, resolve, or dispatch all issues using our ticketing system (Jira Service Management).

    Create and update technology documentation for internal IT teams and Refonte employees.

    Maintain a continuous drive to enhance the user experience and improve internal processes with the mindset: 'How can I make things better?'

    Must be willing to work in-office 100% of the time, 5 days a week, at our NYC office, and provide site support to over 200 employees.

    Ability to prioritize tasks and shift focus as needed.

    Possess a strong drive to learn and grow.

Ideally, you’d have:

    1-2 years of corporate IT experience.
  • check
    Deep understanding of computer fundamentals and troubleshooting, including hardware and software (Mac, Windows), as well as cloud technologies (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Azure AD/M365).

    A positive attitude and enthusiasm for developing new processes and policies in a rapidly growing organization.
  • check
    Experience working with remote teams and multiple global offices, utilizing tools such as Slack and Zoom for support.

    Security and compliance-focused mindset.

Compensation packages at Refonte for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range displayed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for new hires, based on work location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Refonte employees in eligible roles are also provided equity-based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process and confirm whether the role qualifies for an equity grant. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. Additionally, this role may be eligible for extra benefits such as a commuter stipend.

Please refer to the job posting's subtitle to find the location of this position. For pay transparency, the base salary range for this full-time position in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle is $132,000—$158,400 USD.
